Don't know if your interested or you care, but just read Our Identiy as Atheist Organizations and the smear being associated with atheists. Kevin Courcey's statement rang a bell.
This something that I posted, the day Mark Barton killed his family. I was watching CNN and listened to the Sherrif read the suicide note of Barton, a live broadcast. He read the whole note, and in subsequent TV broadcasts two sentences were omitted, "Jehovah will take care of them in the next life. If Jehovah is willing I would like to see them in the next life."
There has been nothing else of his religious beliefs or Jehovah and all that was shown were edited excerpts which omitted the first two sentences.
And Christians dare claim there is an anti Christian or anti religious bias in the media.
I predicted on an atheists list that these sentences would be dropped.
They were, I never heard them again, and neither did anyone else who didn't catch the live CNN broadcast.
