That is one of the best rebuttals to Pascal's Wager that I've seen! That was the conclusion I came to when I finally resolved my "God crisis."

I put this on the back page of the August, 2000, issue of the print edition. Now, I knew I'd heard the name Austin Cline somewhere, but nobody recognized him as a film actor or the like. Then, as I was repairing our e-mail list, it turns out he is a subscriber, so I asked him for retroactive permission to reproduce it. He admits that this piece flew off his fingertips in a matter of a few minutes, and pointed to a whole section of Austin Cline's Weekly Column on About.com. Enjoy!
