To use the logic that says "We don't understand love so it must prove God exists" makes me think of the weird logic used by the UFO crowd and the Ancient Astronauts believers.
The UFO people seem to accept the following reasoning. "I see something flying through the air and I don't know what it is so it must be an alien space ship."
The Ancient Astronaut followers say: "I see an artifact or ancient structure that I can't explain so it must have been left by ancient space travelers or built with their help."
Theist use the same logic all the time. "I can't explain __________ (fill in the blank with mystery of your choice), so it proves that God exists."
Through the centuries we have come to understand many thing our ancestors never had a clue about. What keeps the stars and planets from falling out of the sky? What causes the seasons? What is wind? Where do babies come from?
The list is obviously endless and gets longer every day as mysteries fall victim to the scientific method and logical reasoning.

PS Memphis is on the belt buckle of the Bible Belt. There are six churches within one half mile radius of my house. They do serve a useful purpose though. They make great landmarks when giving directions.
