We Tend To Post
This Stuff Just For Laffs
The Callow Family
On our front page, we ask writers to at least read our material before accusing us of dishonesty, etc., stating: "So please, think about what you say first, if for no other reason than that we tend to post some of the more ridiculous tirades -- just for laffs. Then, atheists who visit this site are reminded of why we have still never converted to theism." |

If you wish to have a discussion, I suggest speaking clearly, in English, and not start off with vague accusations.

Okay, now we get down to business -- with a letter that was actually received on June 13, 2001. |

Athiesim is irrational it is an universal negitive and a universal negitive says there is nothing or say no god in the universe but you have to check every where at the same time so you cannot prove it

Atheism is the absence of a belief in deities. What is there to prove?

Irrational? (To say nothing of your last statement.)
However, I have no reason to believe your claim that gods exist, therefore I lack that belief. I am not the one making the claim, you are; so I have nothing to prove, you do. I am not saying that gods do not exist, I am simply not believing your claim that gods exist.
Even if I couldn't prove your claim to be false (were that even my goal), that would not automatically make your claim true. You cannot disprove my claim that an invisible green leprechaun lives under my Chicago Cubs cap. Does that leprechaun therefore exist? No.
You are the one who is being irrational, because you refuse to accept the rules of logic, making up your own rules as you go along and expecting the rest of us to go along with your illogic.
You are also being dishonest in that you demand that I prove a claim that I never made.

how are we illogical and besides with the rules set forth by simon greenleaf you are the one who has to prove your claim because were first and since you stated you can't here we go and if you are going to say the trinity the law of non-contradiction states and has always stated a canot be a and non-a at the same time and same sense they are three different in one so it is logical

I don't understand what you were trying to say (I suggest writing in English next time).
But I will reiterate that since I am not claiming anything about gods, I have nothing to prove.

what im saying is in the rules set forth by greenlieaf who was known in his day as the best person on evidence said that the people who come after have to prove the ones who came first wrong see we as theists don't have to defennd you have to defend and the second was we are logical the trinity is logical the law of non-contradiction states 'a' cannot be 'a' and 'non-a' at the same time AND THE SAME SENSE so the persons of the trinity are the same at time but not at the same sense so it is logical

And I still don't understand what you're saying. Speak English, please!
1. You need to tell me what it is that I have claimed that I need to prove.
2. You need to tell me what you mean by "came after" and then make your case that that is what happened.
3. I don't care what "greenlieaf" said (whatever that is), you need to describe your own position in making your case, rather than expecting us to know what others have or have not said.
Perhaps you do well to go to school instead of listening to Evangelical videos.
