Dear Cliff,
I really enjoyed the article by Richard Dawkins on Douglas Adams [in the print edition, May, 2001]. One of my favorite authors; after I heard about his death, I reread my own favorite of his books, So Long and Thanks for All the Fish -- in my humble opinion, the best of the "trilogy."
