If Bush and others had not alienated those who think or are willing to think, the tragedy might have been prevented. Even qualified people have not been able to prevent disasters. The NASA engineer who tried to prevent the Challenger disaster, by trying to get them to set the Challenger flight off at least one day, was unable to prevent that disaster.
I had come to the conclusion that inevitably someone would fly a plane into the WTC and possibly into the Pentagon (as a symbol of US military). I was not sure of the time scale and did not think that it would happen this soon. If the logic had been followed through, both the means and the people might have been discovered before they were able to complete their act.
